К ВОПРОСУ ЭПИДЕМИОЛОГИИ РАССЕЯННОГО СКЛЕРОЗА
Аннотация
Авторами проведен подробный и критический анализ отечественной и зарубежной литературы по изучению уровня заболеваемости рассеянным склерозом, особенностям течения заболевания в различных этнических группах. Впервые заболевание было описано Шарко в 1868 г., после открытия контрастных веществ для микроскопирования исследование рассеянного склероза стало еще более активным и продуктивным. Однако на сегодняшний день вопросы этиологии и эпидемиологии остаются актуальными. В ходе многочисленных исследований было определено, что генетический фактор играет не последнюю роль в развитии рассеянного склероза. Вместе с тем у разных этнических групп при заболевании рассеянным склерозом отмечается разное количество генов, способствующих процессу. В настоящее отмечается тенденция к увеличению заболеваемости среди этнических групп, для которых ранее не был характерен рассеянный склероз, что способствовало активизации исследований в ряде стран.
