Выживаемость пациентов с увеальной меланомой зависит от многих факторов: возраста больного, своевременности обращения за медицинской помощью, стадии процесса, размеров опухоли, ее локализации, методов лечения. По литературным данным более эффективное воздействие на продолжительность жизни пациентов оказывает брахитерапия. В представленном клиническом случае прослежена длительность заболевания более 11 лет.

The survival rate of patients with uveal melanoma depends on many factors: the patient's age, the timeliness of seeking medical help, the stage of the process, the size of the tumor, its location, and treatment methods. According to literature data, brachytherapy has a more effective effect on the life expectancy of patients. In the presented clinical case, the duration of the disease was traced for more than 11 years.
